Newcastle Going Update

Current going conditions at Newcastle Racecourse are Good to Soft, Good in places (6.1 on the going stick for both hurdle and chase courses), reports James Armstrong, Clerk of the Course.

After this Friday’s meeting we will be moving all the bends in to allow at least six yards of fresh ground for WBX.COM Fighting Fifth Hurdle day.

This has been saved since last year and has not been raced on since March. All hurdle sites will be fresh and we will allow room for extra hurdles to be placed on the inside of the hurdle course for the WBX.COM Fighting Fifth hurdle itself.
